Surreal Chessboard in Space with Figures SVG

A striking black and white linocut shows a giant chessboard floating in space, with chess pieces as buildings and two small human figures.

Linocut

Black and white linocut of a surreal chessboard in space with oversized chess pieces and two tiny human figures.

Surreal black and white pen and ink illustration. Composition features a giant checkered chess board floating in space, the surface stretching toward infinity. On the board, massive chess pieces stand as architectural buildings with windows and doorways. Two small silhouetted figures stand on adjacent squares, one contemplating their next move, the other walking between pieces. Stars and small planets float in the dark void surrounding the board, rendered with delicate parallel line hatching. A distant galaxy spirals in the background. Balanced medium-density linework, classic pen and ink illustration style, no stippling, surrealist atmosphere. White background, pure black ink only, no color, no gradients.
