Person Reading Under Clock Tree SVG

A surreal black and white linocut shows a person reading under a large tree with clocks and pocket watches hanging from its branches.

Linocut

Black and white linocut of a person reading under a tree with many clocks and pocket watches hanging from its branches.

Surreal black and white pen and ink illustration. Composition features an enormous ancient tree with twisting gnarled branches, but instead of leaves, hundreds of pocket watches and clocks hang from the branches by chains. Some clocks are melting, some are ticking, all showing different times. A small silhouetted figure sits beneath the tree reading a book, undisturbed. Roots curl into the earth below in detailed pattern. Distant mountains in the background rendered with light hatching. Balanced medium-density linework, classic pen and ink illustration style, no stippling, surrealist Dalí-inspired atmosphere. White background, pure black ink only, no color, no gradients.
